Social Emotional Learning
At Rainbow Ridges we believe that learning how to understand emotions, build positive relationships, and make good choices is just as important as learning math or reading. That’s why Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is part of everything we do—from classroom lessons to activities, clubs, and staff training. When students grow in SEL, they do better in school and in life!
What is SEL?
is the process of learning how to understand your emotions, manage stress, build healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL helps students become more confident, stay focused, and handle everyday
challenges—both in and out of school. It also helps students show empathy,
communicate better, and work through conflict in positive ways.
